Great product
I would give this a 5-star rating but had some big issues with communication from this company, which left me pretty unnerved. When everything was finally straightened out the battery arrived quickly and half charged. Works great, charges well and lasts a long time without having to charge again.

Bold 9700 Battery Replacements

Makes my phone work again!
The battery came a few days later than scheduled, so that made me nervous. But it came just about fully charged and lasted a full 24 hours! (Previously I thought my blackberry was going to die) Just changing to this new battery has made all the difference!

Very Upset
I purchased this item. But it was mailed to me at a cost of 76$, this company demanded that I make a fedex account to ship internationally (to Canada). Not telling me that after I paid for the shipping to this company of 5$, fedex would then charge me as well. They completely misled me in the shipping costs.

I have no complaint with the battery. They last a good while. I was disappointed in the shipping fee. To get here in a reasonable time you had to pay almost as much in shipping as you do for the battery.

Good Battery Backup
I tried this battery once for full use. At the first time, I charged it for full 24 hours as suggested and I compared its full performance with my original battery. With the same usage pattern, the original battery performed better. Based on my experience, this product can only live for 1 - 1.5 days before next charging while the original one can live for 2 days. However, this product can still be a good backup battery for the original one.

battery died in first few days
this battery did not last but five days before it went completely dead and would not take a charge. Ran down very fast from full charge.

We suggest when you receive a battery that you charge it for a full 24 hours prior to using it. This is an OEM part that we buy direct from RIM. It also depends on what is running (internet, WiFI or Bluetooth).

I am not sure if this is the correct battery that was delivered....it appears to be smaller than my original battery for my 9780 Bold....please advise if this is the incorrect battery sent.

Good price
Very good price for a new Blackberry battery (and the item I ordered was the one I received-- evidently this is not the case when dealing with some other websites). So far the product is working perfectly.
I would have given a 5, but it took a while to receive the shipment. I ordered the battery on 9/8 and it did not arrive to me in Los Angeles until 9/17. I chose the basic ground rate thinking it would be no more than a week, so I was surprised that it took longer.

Suffices
It lasts for a little more than 24 hours, which is not bad, but I was hoping for something with longer-lasting battery power.

This is an OEM RIM battery. These batteries work to their full capacity after being charged up for 24 hours prior to using them the first time. The life of a battery also depends on the what you have on your Blackberry, ie: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or internet.

This replacement battery does not last as long as the original when it was new. Maybe its been sitting on the shelf a while. Hoping the memory expands as I keep using it.

All of the batteries are OEM products. They require to be charged for 24 hours before using them the first time. It can also depend on what you are using on the phone (WI-Fi, bluetooth, internet, etc). Those things can drain the battery much quicker.
