neat stand
This charging stand allows you to charge the Blackberry Bold without having to mess with cords. You position the phone in the cradle, and it connects without wires. This is easy, convenient, and saves wear and teaar on the charging cord and connectors. I thought this might be a "proximity" device, charging without a direct electrical connection. But close inspection reveals two little nubs in the phone that fit into corresponding spots in the base. I like the way the phone becomes a clock while charging (but that is a phone feature, not part of the stand itself). As others have noted, the base is small and the connected cord is stiff, so you have to be somewhat careful about positioning the base or it might move or not sit flat. I found mine worked well when positioned an inch or two from a table edge. One other problem is that the supplied cord is too doggone short. In most instances you will need an extension cord to reach an AC outlet. The cord and power block are the same ones supplied with the phone. They can double as a travel charger, with or without the base. All in all, a good value, and a practical accessory that makes charging the phone a bit easier and more fun.

Great Size, but ...
Well - this Pod is so small, you can carry it in your front pocket. It makes itself at home as part of your Survival Gear. The unfortunate trade off is stability - it tends to become unbalanced as it is so light, the USB cable can cause it to tip over. The price is also a bit on the high end, but if you are looking for clean and professional styling, this is the one.

Works Great!
This is a must have accessory for my BlackBerry Bold 9900! Works just as well as my old 9780 chargepod did and has a nicer grippy surface on the bottom so it does not slide around. The charger that comes with doubles as a travel charger so I leave the pod at home on my nightstand and take the AC/USB plug and cable with me on the road as a compact travel solution.
